Colorado City is a community located in the foothills to the Wet Mountains, approximately 20 miles south of the Pueblo area right off of Interstate 25. The area has a population of approximately 2,000 with average annual temperature ranging from 32 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit and the average snowfall during the winter months of 1 to 7 inches. It includes an 18-hole golf course called the Hollydot Golf Course and is also close to Lake Beckwith. The area school is Craver Middle School. Colorado City is another close-knit community that offers you privacy without being right in the mountains.
